ANIMATIONS 2D/3D

This Short "The Walk" was my final assignment for my art and motion class. I created a paper doll and glued together joints so I could manipulate the bird characters legs and spine. This allowed to me to give the bird character more fluid movements in his expressions. 

In order to focus even more on the body language I gave the bird as minimal moveable facial parts as possible so I could really think and be creative with how I show emotions with only the body and good timing. 

I decided to put him in a snowy setting to give myself more time to focus on the birds movements instead of a complex background. 

A 3D animation for class using free rigs and voice clips from online and my own layouts for the background.
